The pouches are perfectly pre-blended, making your job easy. Actually, all you really have to worry about is the ice. You can obviously make your smoothie or cocktail with regular tapwater, but going the extra mile with fresh filtered water or spring water serves to bring out the natural flavour of the fruit. If possible, you'll want to use a tray with smaller ice cubes rather than larger ones, since it will blend quicker and smoother.

Serving Size

In a typical 12oz serving size (1 packet), you'll want to use about 1 cup of ice. If you're using large ice cubes (normal tray sizes), you'll want to add more than a single cup of ice since the volume will go down when it blends.

Make sure to account for some liquid if you want to smooth the blend. You can use milk, water, alcohol or juice - about 2 ounces will suffice in mixing.
